London & South Open University Psychological Society

What we do

LOUPS is the regional branch of The Open University Psychological Society (OUPS)  based in London and the South of England. However, although many of our face-to-face events do run in London,  LOUPS has  held events all around the UK in recent years, and our programme of online talks has had speakers and attendees from around the world.

The London Region is a very active region, running course overview days, conferences and social events to support students in their studies and to give them a chance to meet with fellow-students and professionals working in psychology, criminology and related areas.

For an idea of what we do see our previous events.

We welcome anyone with an interest in the events we run, whether you are studying, working in or just interested in the topics being presented.

Although London has good travel links for our many national and international guests,  we always try to make our events as accessible to as many people as possible, with a mixture of face-to-face, online and hybrid depending on the facilities available.

LOUPS currently runs One-day Conferences, seminars and regular popular pub social events. You can always check our programme at loups.org.uk/events and we hope to meet many of you at these in the near future.
